Many of the stations in smaller type, while not geographically close to Mobile, Pensacola or Biloxi, are receivable in the area during the day because the signals travels over salt water paths. Signals that travel over salt water paths can travel considerably farther than those over land. All of the stations in smaller type (except WWL and Radio Marti) cannot be received at night.
