- History:
- This station dates back
to an initial construction permit that was issued in January of
1986. It did not get on the air fully until August of 1988, but
since then it has always been a Bible Broadcasting Network affiliate,
relaying the programming from WYFA in Waynesboro, Georgia. WYFK,
in turn, feeds several more translators throughout Georgia and
Alabama. In July of 2014 the station received a construction
permit for a very minor decrease in antenna height, along with some
corrected tower site coordinates.
The station received a permit to change from a Jampro JSCP-6 six bay
antenna to a Propagation Systems 6 bay antenna in October 2021.
