This station received its initial construction permit in early February, 2014 and was reported to be on the air just two months later, in April.  The station broadcasts from a studio at LaCroy Career Technical Center in Clanton, with student DJs who pick a variety of contemporary rock and country music.

The license for the station was cancelled at the licensee's request in January 2020.
