History:
The call sign for this station was initially assigned in February 2014, and the station signed on in January of 2015 with a wide variety of music, religious programming, community talk and old time radio programs.  The station, initially running just 34 watts from a tower across from the Headland Police Department on Cleveland Street, received a construction permit to boost power to 100 watts from a new site at the Todd Syrup Farm southeast of town on US-431, in July 2017.  That permit was cancelled before it was ever built out, however.

The station filed a Silent STA with the FCC in August 2019, citing loss of financial support from the community.  Shortly thereafter the Facebook site for the station was deleted, with the website being redirected to commercial station WDIG in Dothan.  Tom Smith, head of RAM Educational Radio of Headland, had previously worked for WDIG.

The FCC formally deleted the license for the station in March 2021.
