History:
The station's original construction permit was for much higher power and better coverage, but due to budget and timing constraints, the station had to drop down to a small 100 watt signal to get on the air before the expiration of the permit.  The station received its license to cover in May 2012.  In mid-September 2013 they received a construction permit to increase power to 100,000 watts, similar to the original construction permit's specifications.  The format seems to be a Hip-Hop-heavy variety of music, although one person who was in the area described the music he heard in February 2015 as "new age" and boring.  The station may have been off the air during the winter of 2016 but was reported active in April 2016.  The construction permit for a 100 kW facility expired, unbuilt, in mid-September 2016; it was almost immediately re-applied for, and the FCC granted it a month later.

The station has been reported silent as of early July 2019.  The permit for the 100,000 watt facility was again allowed to expire in late 2019.  As of October 2019, the station appears to still be silent.

In April 2020 the station filed a Silent STA with the FCC, claiming that lightning took the transmitter off the air.  It's unclear if the station had ever been on the air at all, however, after July of 2019.  The station was reported to still be off the air as of early October 2020.

The FCC deleted the licensed in December 2023 at the request of the licensee.
