- This station
received its original construction permit on 9 September 2011,
licensed to Damon L. Collins of Foley, Alabama. The license
was later transferred to Blackbelt Broadcasting, of which Collins is
sole owner. The station was reported to be heard on air for
the first time on 22 November 2013, playing TV theme music. On
26 November 2013 the station debuted a Variety Hits format. Collins
is also owner of a a station in Frisco City. In March of 2016
the station showed up as the parent station for a translator W263CF
on 100.5 MHz, which is on the air in Meridian, Mississippi.
Collins passed away on 13 May 2021.
