History:
This station dates back to the late 60's, when it came on as WWRH "RH 105".  During this era it was Adult Contemporary and later, Rock.  In the late 70's the station changed calls to WFXE (as "Foxie 105") and embraced Soul music with a heavy lean on Disco.  After the collapse of the disco genre in the early 80's the station moved to Hip-Hop and has been in the format ever since.  In 2009 a tornado swept through Phenix City and destroyed the station's broadcast tower.  They operated on low power for roughly two years until the station could be relocated to a better site west of the city.
