History:
Station received its original construction permit in January 2008, and a license to cover was issued in late September 2011.  The station aired a CCM (Christian Contemporary Music) format as "Vision 90.9" until possibly 2019, when it was reported to be airing a Southern Gospel and Country music mix as "God's Country".

The station was reported to be simulcasting on Alexander City's WJHO in April 2021 as a temporary placeholder until that station debuts a new format, which it did at some later point in time.

The station filed a silent STA with the FCC in early October 2023, saying they'd be off the air while moving to a new studio.

In mid-March 2024 it was announced that Lee Perryman's RadioAlabama Foundation would be acquiring the station for $20,000.  Perryman owns several other stations in east central Alabama through his Marble City Media and Auburn Networks companies.  The station filed a resumption of operations on 6 June 2024.  The FCC approved the license transfer in mid-June 2024.  The station was noted to be airing a Classic Country format after RadioAlabama Foundation took over operations.
