Communications
- History:
- The station
came on the air around 1991 as WDVI "The Dove" with a Christian
religious format. Switched to the WELL-FM calls in 1997.
Currently carries SRN's Contemporary Christian satellite
format. Had a permit in 2009 to change from 60 kW vertical
only to a cross polarized setup like most other stations, but it was
never built out and expired in 2012. Another application (or
two) was filed afterwards, and one was granted in May 2017.
That one was put in the air in the late fall of 2016.
