History:

This station is owned by Alabama 810, who operates WCKA 810 in Jacksonville.  The frequency opened up after the unrelated country outlet "Alabama 100", at 100.5 MHz, moved to Atlanta and a station on 100.7 in Northport upgraded and moved to 100.5 MHz.  The format is classic country, similar to Alabama 810. WCKF came on the air at the end of January, 2008.
