FM History Profile: WZBQ

History:

The station was once WRAG FM (with AM companion WRAG in Carrollton) with a country format. Later switched to AC as WAQT-FM. The calls were later changed to WCKO when the station went to oldies. The current WZBQ calls were picked up (along with the hot AC format of ZBQ) when that station left 102.5 in Jasper/Birmingham. Picked up morning show Steve and DC, who once worked in Tuscaloosa radio,  from St. Louis a number of years ago.
