How's the Signal?
Signal is excellent
over most all of Jefferson and Shelby counties. Can be received well in
Cullman, Tuscaloosa, Gadsden, Anniston, Clanton and more.

How's it sound?
The sound quality of this station is below
average. Station has de-emphisized treble "for female listeners". There's
noticeable artifacting in the music. No longer the worst of the area
stations, that award now goes to sister station WRAX. Once again, if it's
Dick, it's gonna sound bad.
History:
This station actually
began as WCOV-FM 94.5 in Montgomery before moving to Birmingham.
In it's earliest days,
was a tax writeoff of WAPI-AM. Original calls were WAFM, later changed
to WAPI. It enjoyed a stint as an easy listening station, later as a CHR
station with the names "I-95" and "95 Rocks".
