FM History Profile: WSFU

History:

This station started off at 100.9 MHz and featured AC and oldies with WQSI calls.. When WALX in Selma upped its power to 50kW, this station applied for the frequency change to 94.1 MHz. It was granted but (supposedly) the owners couldn't afford the transmitter adjustments to switch frequencies and went dark for over 10 years before finally returning to the air.
