FM History Profile: WKUL

History:

92.1 came on the air in the mid-60's as WKLN (for the owner, Ken LawreNce) with a live beautiful music format.  In the 70's the station was sold to a group from WKUL 1340, when that station switched from top 40 to country. WKLN switched to top 40 with rock at night at that time. Around 1987 this station became WKUL-FM and switched to a country format, which they are to this day.
