AM History Profile: WDJL

History:

This was WVOV (Voice Of the tenneessee Valley. Was unusual in that it was a daytimer top 40 station but it gave WAAY a run for the money. Even odder that it was once an album-rocker station when no FM in the market offered that sound. The calls changed to WTAK in 1981 before becoming WDJL.
