History:
610 started in the late 50's as WDEB (DEButante), an easy listening station with an annoucing staff of all girls (hence debutante). Later it tried top 40 as WVIX, then country. For some time now it has been all religious. WVTJ may stand for "Victory Through Jesus".  The station ran some Salem talk programming when it was owed by Pensacola Radio Corporation and may still do so now.  In December 2010 the tower site was moved up the street from a site at Pace and Clay Street, by about a block.

The station received a construction permit for a new translator station on 105.3 MHz in January 2018, and it signed on in December 2018.
