Wolff Broadcasting Corporation
History:
This station may have started out as WYNI-FM, taking the calls from an Atmore area AM station that is now silent.  Around March of 2000 this station was WFNU, "Fun 101" with an eclectic mix of music.  In 2006 it took the WTID calls when those were dropped by a Tuscaloosa area station.  In July 2008 the calls changed again to WPPG when the station began simulcasting in glorious mono the "Power Pig" country of area AM WPGG.   At some point, Great South may have owned or run the station;  later, car dealer and ex-owner of Monroeville-area 93.3 Pete Wolff bought the station and sunk some money into it.
.
In August 2008 it was reported that the station was now operating out of newly-built facilities, with all new equipment.  Except for a live morning show, the station is carrying satellite-fed Dial Global Mainstream Country music.  The station also later secured a permit to upgrade to higher power and a taller tower, but that CP was never built out as of the summer 2010.
