PMB Broadcasting

History:
This station dates back to an original construction permit issued in 2007 to Signature Broadcasting, Ltd., for a new Class A station with 6 kW on 103.7 MHz, licensed to Cussetta, Georgia, southeast of Columbus.  River City Broadcasting acquired the permit a few months after issuance.  In March 2008 they were granted a modification to the construction permit to relocate to the WLTZ-DT tower just east of downtown Columbus, with 4.8 kW at 745 feet HAAT (Height Above Average Terrain). A license to cover for this facility was filed in June 2008.  The station launched with a Christian Contemporary music format as "The Truth". River City Broadcasting moved the religious programming to a non-commercial band frequency in mid-December 2009, and flipped this station to Soft Rock as "Lite FM".

The license was transferred to PMB Broadcasting in February 2010.

In February 2014 the station was granted a permit to increase power to 10.5 kW at 505 feet HAAT, but it was never built out to this specification.  In March 2014 the station commenced broadcasting in HD and launched multicasting.  The HD2 at launch was a classic rock format as "Classic Rock 105.5", feeding Columbus-area translator W288CV.  In May 2014 the station was granted a modification to their previous construction permit, this time for 8.8 kW at 548 feet HAAT.  A license to cover for this change was granted in September 2014.

On 1 July 2015 the station added a second HD subchannel, bring home "The Truth" christian contemporary format and using it to feed translator W299AX in Columbus.
